The Photron Fastacam SA3 is a compact and robust high speed camera, ideal for applications that require reliability and superior image quality. The user has the possibility to choose the reception frame rate and digital resolution from 2000 fps (frames per seconds) at 1024 x 1024 pixels resolution, to 120.000 fps but with reduced resolution at 128 x 16 pixels. The internal memory is enough to be recorded at 1024 x 1024 pixels at least 5 sec animation, with adjustable shutter from 2ms to 16ms regardless of the reception rate.

The camera has the ability to connect to video device for real-time monitoring of arrangements, recording and playback. The high-performance Gigabit Ethernet connector allows communication of camera with the computer for controlling of receptions but also for later safe and quick transportation of received frames.
